grade three this week (from the students' perspectives):
“We had Shave your Lid today and some people
cut their hair and the others shaved their head.” -LR
“Today we did Shave your Lid for a Kid and
its pretty scary when you first get up there then you realize it’s not so bad
after. I cut my hair.”-WC
“Today we had Shave your Lid for a kid and
most of our friends in our class did it and I was cheering in the crowd.”-LC
“In
Math we did some more shapes it was fun for me when we had a bunch of shapes
and sorted them into regular and irregular shapes.” -AM
“In
Music, we are doing recorder karate and there are lots of colour belts like
white, red, blue, green, orange.”-BR
“In PE we did Frisbee we worked with our
partners and we used soft ones.”-NNS
“In PE we are doing Frisbee and my record
with one of my partners was 11 without the Frisbee falling on the ground”-ES
“In testing, we were testing to see what
shape would be the strongest for our little free pantry post and we used paper
to test them.” -SS
“In testing we took some paper and made some
shapes and we put books on them and there was a cylinder, triangular and
rectangular prisms and for us the cylinder won.”-JP
“We went on D2L to look at blueprints with
partners.”-AV
“We made something for Mother’s Day.” -KB
