June 3rd - 7th

In grade three this week (from the students' perspectives): Today we were starting to end our Little Free Pantries. My group and I, we had to finish the base but we didn’t have time to do the shelving. We did the base and the roof and the sides and the door. They were more important than shelving because we could stack up the food. The light food on the top and the heavy food on the bottom. We were thinking just to put a little tape onto our plan to stick it up but we weren’t really done. We used the plan to show what it was supposed to look like.  –AM This week, we finished up our prototypes. My group finished and we were making food to go in so we would know if it was a good size prototype so our real one won’t be too big or too small. – JM I have something to add on to ……’s. In grade three this week (from the students' perspectives):    “Today we did the stem challenge and we tried to build a parachute” - GB “Today we are finishing up our Little Free Pantry blueprints.”- AG “This week we are finishing up our LFP blueprints and we also made our side view for our LFP and came up with names for our company.” –SS “In Math, we are doing animal sorting and putting them into groups like mammals, reptiles, insects, birds and amphibians.”- AM “In Math, we have been doing shapes and we are working on 3D shapes. We have been measuring the little free pantry.
