This week in grade three from the students' perspectives: “ We were working on our proposals.” EM “In math, we are learning about shapes. We read books on triangles, squares, and circles. “GS “In math, we are learning about shapes and we are doing polygons. A polygon is a shape with three straight sides or more and it’s a closed shape.” SS “This week at school, we did testing for our Little Free Pantry and my group tested 6 posts and it held 26 books. “EVK “We tested posts for the LFP and in my group, we did four legs and we balanced 27 books on top of the paper. We rolled a piece of paper and then rolled another piece of paper. I learned that if we put just the paper down, it wouldn’t balance, but if we put the book on paper, it would balance (the weight on top helped it balance).”ES “In STEM, we tried to build a tower. This week in grade three from the students' perspectives: "We’ve been working on our proposals" (for the Little Free Pantry). –AG "This week on our proposal, we got to do our second list of criteria." –NNS "This week, we got our new passwords (8 digit ones). That’s how we got onto Google Docs for our proposal writing."  –LC "For our proposal, we went on Google Chrome and from there we went to Google Docs. Ms. Bonanno and Ms. De Luca sent us papers (shared a document) to write on. I am getting faster at typing; I am faster than when I started." – JC "This week in math, we’ve been learning division." –GM "We did a game where we have to roll the dice and multiply and divide. It’s sort of like “What’s under my thumb?” but with a product and quotient." –EW "We had a dance class with Rubix and Rebecca and we learned some new moves about hip hop. It was super fun....
